**Ordinary Time – The Season of Growth**
The green paraments and banners in our sanctuary mark the season of Ordinary Time in the Christian liturgical calendar. Far from being "ordinary" in the sense of unimportant, this season focuses on the steady growth of our faith and discipleship as we follow Jesus in our daily lives. Green, the color of life and growth, reminds us of God's ongoing work within us through the Holy Spirit. During Ordinary Time, we reflect on the teachings, ministry, and mission of Christ, seeking to grow deeper in our relationship with God and in our service to others. May this season encourage us to bear fruit in faith, hope, and love as we journey together with Christ. |
